Adding and Removing Objects

To add an object to your interface:

• Drag it from the palette to your interface.

To add a window or dialog box to your interface:

• Drag it from the palette to the nib file window or to the position on the screen where you want it to appear.

To remove an object:

• Select it and choose Edit > Delete.

To duplicate an object:

• Select it, and choose Edit > Copy then Edit > Paste.

Selecting Objects

To select a window or dialog box:

• Click an empty part of the window's content region.

To select text within an object:

• Double-click the text.

  The first click selects the object. The second click selects the text.

To select several objects:

• Click the first and Shift-click the rest.

To select several adjacent objects:

• Drag a selection rectangle over them.

To select all the objects in a window or view:

• Select the window or view, and choose Edit > Select All.

To deselect an object:

• Shift-click it.
